Soji Adetunji is a golden fish who, despite his modest achievements, burns with a passion to serve humanity. He is a firm believer of the maxim that states “to serve God is to love humanity.”
Inbhis 40s, Adetunji, still relatively in his youthfulness, has vast and cognate experience in corporate circles of finance and business administration.
Soji Adetunji, who was given to by Hon. and Mrs John Adetunji of Ile-Olobi Compound, Oke-ba, Ikirun, Osun State is a product of University of Lagos and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
“SOJ,” as he is fondly called by friends, started his education at Saviours African Church Cathedral Primary School, Ikirun. Thereafter, he proceeded to Holy Michael High School for his secondary education. He later attended the prestigious University of Lagos where he bagged a degree in Business Administration.
His quest for more knowledge took him to the famous Obafemi Awolowo University for his Master degree, also in Business Administration.
While at UNILAG, he contested and won the post of Secretary-General of the great Sodehinde Hall.
Part of his manifestoes while contesting this post was to facilitate building a world-class library in his hall. This, he was able to achieve by convincing the late Dr Hammed Kusamotu, a great politician and legal luminary to donate an impressive, well-equipped library to his hall.
This library was named after the wife of the politician, Chief (Mrs) Iyabode Kusamotu and it still stands today as a testament of Soji’s passion to serve humanity.
Ashaju Soji Adetunji is a financial expert and an administrator per excellence. His career has seen him work across four giant financial institutions at managerial levels.
As a man of humble parentage, he knows first-hand what deprivation is, and is therefore steadily carving a niche for himself in social service.
He is the humble founder of Soji Adetunji Foundation (SAF), an organisation dedicated to empower people for better living and mentoring.
His humble philanthropy through this foundation has put smiles on the faces of many people of his community.
He has attended various local & international trainings. He has also presented papers in many seminars and conferences on both finance & business.
Adetunji is an associate member of Nigeria Institute of Personnel Management; he is also a member of many social clubs in Osun, Oyo and Lagos States. He is a member of the finance committee of Yoruba Patriotic Movement.
This humble personality is an illustrious son of Ikirun Agunbe Onile-Obi.
