JUST IN: US Coronavirus Deaths Cross 100,000

The United States of America on Wednesday recorded over 100,000 deaths from COVID-19. Data from the Johns Hopkins University Centre for Systems Science and Engineering revealed that 100,047 people in the US had died from the pandemic, with 1,694,599 people said to have been infected.

According to Cable News Network, New York City is leading with 29,370 deaths and 364,965 confirmed cases, followed by New Jersey, which has 11,339 deaths and 156,628 confirmed cases.

As of Wednesday a total of 353,414 people have been killed by coronavirus worldwide.
