An ex-lawmaker of the House of Representatives and an incumbent Member of the Judiciary Service Commission in Osun State, Honourable Rotimi Makinde and his beautiful queen, winner of 2013 Miss Osun Beauty Contest are to be conferred as the Bobajiroro and Yeye Bobajiroro of Ede by the Ede council of chiefs to mark the 10th year coronation of the king.
His conferment, according to the letter sent to him, is based on his unalloyed support, outstanding leadership, personate achievement with undiluted vision and determination to human race.
The letter sent to Hon. Makinde reads: “CONFERMENT OF CHIEFTAINCY TITLE AS BOBAJIRO AND YEYE BOBAJIRO OF EDE LAND. With the greatest humility and honour, i am pleased to inform you as someone i have utmost respect for that i have a letter notifying me of the intention of the monarch HRM Oba Dr Munirudeen Adesola Lawal Laminisa I Timi of Ede in council to bestowed on me and my wife with the chieftaincy titles of Bobajiro and Yeye Bobajiro of Ede come March 10th.”

Speaking with Amiloaded on the telephone on Monday, Makinde expressed delight at the honour and assured that he would continue to impact on the society.
