Alhaji Adeniyi Monsuru ADEBAYO, a young entrepreneur, Chief executive officer of FLEX CAB and indigene of Iwo in Osun State has been awarded the Golden Award of Excellence by the Chemical Society of Nigeria.
Adebayo received the award during the 43rd Annual International Conference of the organization held at Transcorp Hilton Abuja tagged Abuja 2020.
The awardee is a pioneer graduate of Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State before proceeding for postgraduate studies at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State where he Studied Analytical Chemistry.
Adebayo is currently a research student at the Global Affairs and Sustainable Development Institute at Osun State University, Osogbo.
His practices over the years have earned him deep experienced in Pharmaceutical Production, Food Processing and Packaging, Logistics as well as project management. He has also worked as Both Technical and Administrative Staff in different successful Construction Firms
During his internship program at MEDAC PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTION LIMITED in Oyo, He had the opportunity of lecturing Pre-ND and National Diploma students at Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria, Samaru Kataf Campus in Kaduna State.
He is a trained Service Provider for the FADAMA III World Bank Assisted project where he anchored several projects that positively impact on the lives of many farmers across the Local government areas of Osun State.
He was appointed the Personal Assistant to the Pioneer Commissioner for Environment in Osun State in 2009 and later Appointed as the Personal Assistant to the Secretary to the State Government of Osun State in 2010.
He also worked with INFOTURE GROUP as a Project Officer, SIBGA SERVICES LIMITED also as a Project Officer, TERA & PICO CONSTRUCTION as a Project Coordinator on the State of Osun School Infrastructure Program tagged “O-School”.
He is the founder and CEO of FLEX CAB, a Uber-like Cab service operator in the South-West Nigeria and the Projects Director and Principal Partner at Tera & Pico Construction and Engineering Services Limited
He has contributed tremendously to the development of research work through the support of the annual Chemistry Open day an Initiative of the likes of Prof. Timothy Olagbenro a Former VC of Bowen University and the Current VC of Edwin Clark University, Kiagbodo Delta State; Prof J.A. Faniran; Prof. C.A. Obafemi and of course Prof. S.O. OKENIYI who is the current VC of ATIBA UNIVERSITY OYO and the outgoing President of the Chemical Society of Nigeria
He is an active member of Men’s Consortium Club of Iwo and also a member of the Lions Club International, a humanitarian and service-oriented Association of International repute. He is a proud member of the Osogbo Metropolitan Lions Club, District 404B2, Nigeria.
He’s a businessman, political analyst, and a well-cultured young African who is happily married and blessed with pious children.
