The Osun Central Senatorial Candidate for the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Alhaji (Otunba) Lai Oyeduntan has debunked speculation that he had withdrew from the race.
He asked constituents in the district to ignore this rumour which emanated from opposition political parties that are already jittery of imminent defeat.
The ADP Osun Central Senatorial candidate therefore asked electorate in the district to troop out in large number and vote for him during the February 23 Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Oyeduntan warned those peddling the rumour to desist or face the wrath of God saying his ambition to represent Osun Central in the Senate is backed up by God and no man can stop that.
“There is a rumour spreading like virus that I, Alh. (Otunba) Lai Oyeduntan, the Action Democratic Party Osun Central Senatorial Candidate, has stepped own from senatorial race.
“This is nothing but lie and should be treated as such. We thereby call on the good people of this Osun central senatorial district to go out on 23rd of this month and vote massively for ADP.
“We also call on the rumour mongers to desist from this act, as it will not do them and their sponsors any favour than to peril,” a statement issued by Oyeduntan reads.
