House of Representatives Speaker Aide Congratulates New Owaloko, Thanks Oyetola For The Appointment

The Special Adviser on Administration to the Federal House of Representatives Speaker , Mr. Seun Odofin has congratulated the new Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesha, Prince Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe over his appointment and ratification by Osun State Government as the new monarch of the ancient town, nine years after the demise of the former Owaloko, Oba Oladele Olashore who died in June 2012.

Odofin, in a press release issued by his office and personally signed by him, “On behalf of myself and my family, I congratulate our newly appointed King who remains the popular choice of divination and the larger majority of the people, his emergence is a pure testimony that God reigns supreme in the affairs of men, i rejoice with you wholeheartedly”

He urged the new Owaloko to commit himself to carrying his subjects to a new era of peace, stability and progress in Iloko Ijesha, Osun State and Yorubaland as a whole, working with the state government and other traditional rulers to foster harmony and socio-economic development across the country.

As one of your subject, I admonish you to dedicate yourself to building on and surpassing the worthy legacies of the much-acclaimed predecessor, Late Oba Olashore. “I pray that God Almighty will grant you the immense wisdom and courage you will require to oversee further progress and greater prosperity for our people.’’

The Oriade local government born politician equally thank Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for his statemanship and leadership for righting the wrongs of the past, and championing the path of progress and resolving amicably the vacant position of the Owaloko stool, posterity will always be kind to you and your kindred, your administration is a people oriented one and this is a further affirmation of your ingenuity in human relations management, the statement concluded.
