The State Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila stated this in a press statement issued to AMILOADED.

The Governor Congratulated the entire Muslims ummah for witnessing the New Year.

He, therefore, urged people to intensify prayers against the current insecurity situation of the Country.

The statement, however, urged the people of the State to reflect the teachings of Islam and Practice of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Recalls that AMILOADED had earlier reported that Osun State Government, Oyo State Government, Kano State Government and Kebbi State Government have also declared public holiday for the Hijrah.
