Veteran Nollywood actress, Folake Aremu, popularly known as Orisabunmi has died. She died on Tuesday at her residence in Ibadan.

1. Orisabunmi is a native of Olla in Kwara State.
2. She was born on October 10, 1960.
3. She worked as a teacher in Kwara State before her ex-husband, Jimoh Aliu, popularly known as Aworo discovered her.
4. Orisabunmi and Aworo, who died on September 17, 2020, were married for 36 years.
5. Orisabunmi achieved fame in the 1980s when she starred in the TV series, Arelu.
6. Her first stage play was titled ‘Ori Ma Binu’.
7. Although she became popular after appearing in Arelu, other works she had done include Agbaarin’ and the soap opera titled ‘Yanponyanrin’.
