Policemen who invaded Hon. Funmi Tejuoso’s House are allegedly, currently breaking down doors at the house of the lawmaker and assaulting the children and others while they destroy her properties
In order to forcefully eject the occupants, the fierce-looking policemen, acting upon alleged orders of Governor Akinwumi Ambode, are currently using teargas on the children who are staying in the house despite the seal up by the police carried out on Friday 3rd of November, 2017.
They are at the same time alleged to be disconnecting electricity supply to the house.
The house, 3A, Sasegbon Street, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos was acquired by Hounourable Funmi Tejuoso during the reign of Governor Fashola and was fully paid for in the name of a company belonging to Tejuoso.
Speaking with our correspondent, an eyewitness disclosed that the policemen, few minutes ago, erected a signpost in front of the house with inscription “Deputy Speaker’s Residence.”
The eyewitness said no other deputy speaker had ever lived in the house before and that it was Tejuoso’s residence.
The house was said to have been sold to her by the previous government under the monetization programme.
