Guber poll: Osun Must Remain APC State, Buhari Says, Canvasses Support For Oyetola

President Muhammadu Buhari has asked the people of Osun state to vote for the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola at the Saturday’s governorship election in the state.
According to Buhari while addressing multitude who thronged Osogbo City Stadium on Tuesday at APC mega rally,  Osun people must not allow “the dark days” to return their state.
He said Osun has the best schools in the country, courtesy the administration of Governor Rauf Aregbesola saying the quality of education of the state has improved tremendously. 
The president expressed gratitude to Governor Aregbesola for the development he brought to the state and asked the electorate to ensure the continuty of the gesture by voting Oyetola on Saturday. 
Buhari said “we will continue to develop strategic projects. Our party has no tolerance for corruption.  We have consigned corruption style into history books. Nigeria will be free from corrupt leaders.  Osun must remain APC. Osun must not allow the dark days to return  in Osun.  Osun must continue on the path of progress.”
Also speaking, the national chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomole urged Osun people to vote for Oyetola saying he has required experience to govern the state.
According to him,  “Osun state needs someone with competence and not an apprentice. Oyetola is a successful and experienced man in governance, he is the one Osun state needs.”
The governor of the state, Rauf Aregbesola vowed that Oyetola and his running mate,  Benedict Alabi would be declared winner of the election and be sworn in.
Aregbesola said his administration has changed the face of the state significantly.
APC national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu said the party would maintain peace at the poll and also play by the rules asking the people of the state to vote APC. 
APC Governors who attended the mega rally sought the support and votes of the people of the state.
