The Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola has urged the residents to rally support for the government to protect the state against any form of security challenges.
Speaking on behalf of the Governor at Isale-Agbe Community recently, the Special Adviser on Civic Orientation to the Governor, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye reiterated that the only way insecurity can be defeated is through the collective efforts of all communities in the state.
According to him, “It is generally believed that insecurity has become a topical issue in the national discourse, hence the need to pursue it as a common course and proactively work towards a society that is free of threat and violence.
“As we are all aware that Osun remains one of the most peace-loving states, and this has been made possible as a result of our frantic efforts rooted in communal love and peaceful dispositions of the state residents.
“As a people, there is no such time than now for us to develop a holistic approach towards taming every threat to our harmonious and peaceful coexistence”, he added.
