No fewer than two oil tankers caught fire at an industrial estate in the Iwo area of Osun State on Sunday.
The tankers owned by an indigenous steel-producing company, Rabsh Imec, were said to be loaded with black oil and parked not too far apart.
It was gathered that one of the tankers caught fire, which spread to the second tanker.
As at the press time, the cause of the fire was not known at press time, but fire fighters arrived on the scene to put it out after both tankers were burnt down with their contents.
The black oil was said to be a major component of the company’s production materials.
Confirming the incident, the Fire Service spokesperson, Ibrahim Adekunle said the estimating the loss at N7 million.
No life was lost,
