A former member of the House of Representatives, Congressman Bimbo Daramola has congratulated the Ekiti State Governor-elect, Dr Kayode Fayemi on his victory in the saturday gubernatorial election in the state.
In a statement Daramola personally signed and made available to journalists on Monday, the election was described as peaceful, fair and free.
The Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress said that Fayemi’s victory was as a result of people’s yearnings for good governance and gainful leadership.
He also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for ensuring a peaceful, equal, free and fair participation for all political parties.
Daramola also hailed the people of Ekiti state for standing up for APC and for voting their conscience. He congratulated them saying “it’s a new dawn in Ekiti State.”
“I want to congratulate my brother and friend, Dr. Kayode Fayemi on his victory. It’s a sign that the people of Ekiti state are yearning for good governance and quality leadership,” he said.
