Eid el Kabir: Saka-Layonu Congratulates Muslims

A prominent politician in the State of Osun, Dr. Ismail Abiodun Saka-Layonu SAN has congratulated Muslim faithfuls in Nigeria, particularly in the state as they celebrate this year’s Eid el Kabir.

Dr. Layonu who contested the All Progressives Congress’ gubernatorial ticket ahead of the September 22 gubernatorial election in Osun, sent his warm greetings at his hometown, Ede on Monday.

In the message, the legal luminary expressed that Eid el Kabir is of core spiritual relevance in Islam, urging Muslims to celebrate it as contained in the Holy Quran.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria said, “I really thank Allah for the life we are living in the State of Osun, the peaceful atmosphere is superb as if we are all servung one God. The Christians, Muslims and traditional religion worshipers are co-existing peacefully and enjoying the goodness of the State.”

“As we move towards next month’s election, I urge all residents and indigenes of the state to perform their civic responsibility according to the Constitution of Nigeria and guidelines of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).”

“We must know that we are about to write another history and that is why we should endeavor to write it well. Let us shun violence before, during and after the poll.”

I urge you to vote APC massively and do not be deceived by the antics of our opponents. We are the best and remain so.
