There was an uproar on social media on Tuesday night as a renowned Yoruba poet, Akanda Oro Awinkoko posted on his official Facebook handle that Olaiyomi Koiki, spokesman of popular Yoruba warlord, Sunday Igboho has been suspended, AMILOADED reports.
In a video he posted, he said: “As at now, all Yoruba nation agitators said that Olaiyomi Koiki is no longer spokesman of Sunday Igboho.”

As a result, this has generated to mixed reactions from Nigerians especially the Yorubas.
While others felt that there is lack of unity between Akanda and Koiki, some felt the issue should be resolved offline and not online.
However, not more than two hours after Akanda announced the suspension of Koiki, the embattled spokesman took to his official Facebook handle to react.
While reacting in a video posted on his official Facebook handle, he said: “As the spokesman, Chief Sunday Igboho has advised all Yorubas that whatever any rumour you must have heard anywhere is not true. He has also informed me to tell you that I (Olaiyomi Koiki) remains his spokesman.”
This has also generated to lots of reactions. See photos below:
Sunday Igboho is allowing politicians infiltrating his camp.
This is manifesting with the break in ranks among his spokesmen.
Why are they fighting dirty on social media?
Exposing their differences and inner thinking of igboho?
This is why I said Igboho needs professional media practitioners around him.
He needs to be very careful with some of these politicians, traditional rulers and their agents spread across religious groups, social media and even among his inner circles.
This APC government is a curse on Nigeria, headed by a nitwit nepotist and fatalist, who would not stop until he accomplishes his Fulani agenda which God will never allow.
Most of those who call themselves Yoruba political and religious leaders are charlatans and traitors.
Igboho should heed my previous warnings.
God and our ancestors will be with him
