The Deputy Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, Honourable Lasun Yusuf, today 6th January has commissioned the distribution of Tractors to Osogbo, Olorunda, Orolu and Irepodun local government of Osun State.
He also gave out cheques of 2 million naira to farmer groups in each of the local governments in order to boost the agriculture sector of Osun State.
The Deputy Speaker told Amiloaded correspondent that the tractors were distributed in order to enhance large scale farming that will result to mass harvest of farm products in the state.
The Deputy Speaker, however, said that, as the representative of Irepodun, Olorunda, Osogbo and Orolu Federal Constituency, the task of caring for the people is a must for him.
Honourable Yusuf vowed to continue to improve the lives of the constituents who elected him into power.
The farmers were informed to maintain these tractors and add more as they utilize them for the benefit of the whole state.
