Dead Bodies Of Mother, Child Found Inside Gutter In Osun

The residents of Isale Agbara area in Ile Ife, Osun State On Tuesday sighted the gory two corpses who were dumped inside a gutter opposite AUD Primary School in the area.

Amiloaded gathered on Tuesday evening from sources that the corpses were dead bodies of a Mother and child.

A resident, Mr. Kamil Jamiu who was among those who first saw the dead bodies identified the bodies as mother and child.

He said the lifeless bodies were disposed in a manner that every passerby would easily notice it.

The Osun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Opalola Yemisi confirmed the incident, adding that the Commissioner of Police has ordered for discrete investigation on the case.

“The police have contacted the officials of Local Government of the town and they have evacuated the bodies and deposited at the morgue, ” she said.

She however urged the public to always avail the police with information on happenings in their neighborhood.
