Olori Fatimat Makama, the wife of Olowu of Kuta, HRM Oba Hammed Oyelude Makama, has put smiles on the faces of the indigenes and residents of Owu Kuta as she distributed relief materials to cushion the effect of the lockdown occasioned by the coronavirus pandemic.
Distributing the foodstuffs at the palace of the Olowu of Kuta in Ayedire Local Government of Osun state, vulnerable residents of the ancient city thanked the monarch’s wife for her kindness.
The programme which was powered by the palace through Olori Fatimat Adeola Oyelude was the 2nd edition for the trying period of corona virus.
Apart from the regular empowerment programmes of Olori Fatimat Makama, the Covid relief, AMILOADED gathered, were valued about 6million naira.
The programme was supported by the government of the State under the aegis of Ileri Oluwa Development Initiatives.
The food items distributed included rice, beans, semo, wheat, eggs and other cooking accessories to the widows, orphans, less privileged and others in the vulnerable categories in Kuta.
