As Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid-el-Kabir on Tuesday, the Osun All Progressives Congress Governorship candidate, Mr Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola has congratulated Muslims on the occasion.
The Chief of Staff to Governor Rauf Aregbesola urged Muslims to ensure peaceful coexistence with their neighbours at all times.
Oyetola expressed these felicitation and charge in a statement signed by his Media Assistant, Dayo Fasola and made available to newsmen on Monday.
The governorship candidate enjoined Muslims and other adherents of other religions in the state to rededicate themselves to service to humanity and meditate on its lessons of piety, faithfulness, dedication, fortitude, obedience, and sacrifice for the benefit of all mankind.
Oyetola said to Muslims, “I am grateful to God for his mercy in preserving us to see another Eid el Kabir . And I am thankful for the advancement recorded in the state of Osun in the last one year under the administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
” I urge us all to continue to uphold the tenets of both Islam and Christianity which is peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and understanding of our differences. May God preserve us to witness many more in good health, prosperity and happiness.”
