Canadian University To Establish School Of Medicine In Osun, Reveals Location

 

 

A Canadian University, All Saints University School of Medicine, Dominica, has pledged to establish a Canadian University School of Medicine in Ikirun, Osun State.

The school aimed to support Prince Segun Gboleru, who had been nominated by the Gboleru Ruling House for the stool of Akirun of Ikirun land.

A statement by Communication Consultant to Gboleru, Babajide Morounfolu, said the Vice-Chancellor of the All Saints University of Medicine, Dominica, Dr. Joshua Yussuf, who is also a prominent indigene of Ikirun indicated the interest of the University Management and Board to support Prince Gboleru in taking the town to world-class city status.

Yussuf indicated interest to open a new University of Medicine in Ikirun while receiving Gboleru in his office in Toronto, Canada headquarters of the Canadian University on Monday, March 22, 2021.

“We will collaborate with you and with our people back home to move our Ikirun forward, and also our state, and Nigeria forward” while pointing out that All Saints University School of Medicine has given several millions of dollars worth of scholarship to indigent students from all over the world including Nigerians, therefore, with the support of Gboleru.
