The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday said six new cases of coronavirus has been discovered in Osun State.
This brought the total number of the cases in the state to twenty.
Before NCDC confirmation, Osun State Commissioner for Health, Dr Rafiu Isamotu had informed journalists in the state that six, out of the returnees from Cote D’ivoire tested positive.
Isamotu said total number of returnees from the country that had tested positive was eighteen.
On Friday morning, a release on NCDC Twitter account, confirmed that six new cases of #COVID19 were reported in Osun State.
“As at 11:00 am 3rd April, there are 190 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty have been discharged with two deaths,” NCDC declared.
