More trouble looms for Nigeria’s ruling party as some security operatives on Wednesday, June 17, took over the national secretariat of the APC in Abuja, The Sun reports.
It was gathered that the agents took over the building in anticipation of a possible breakdown of law and order over the court ruling that upheld the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as the party’s national chairman.
The security agents who are strategically located inside and outside the secretariat arrived at the party headquarters in two Hilux Patrol vehicles.
They also stopped journalists who cover the ruling party from gaining access to the premises.
