BREAKING: Again! CCT Adjourns Onnoghen’s Trial

The Code of Conduct Tribunal on Monday adjourned the trial of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen till February 13.
Before adjourning the trial, the CCT chairman Danladi Umar directed that Justice, Onnoghen, who was suspended by President Muhammadu Buhari, should appear in person before the tribunal would proceed with the case against him.
Onnoghen had been accused of false asset declaration and was suspended based on an exparte motion originating from the CCT. An acting CJN, Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed has been sworn-in.
