Beware of Facebook Frauds; Senator Omoworare’s media office cautions public

The Media Office of Senator Babajide Omoworare has called on the general public, especially facebook users, to beware of  fraudulent profiles in the name of Senator Babajide Omoworare.

In a disclaimer to fake profiles on social media platforms made public by Mr Tunde Dairo his Media Assistant, he called on the general public to be wary of the antics and tricks of job offers and other methods of extortion from faceless individuals behind the criminal act, saying efforts is being intensified to bring perpetrators  to book.

According to Dairo, “We have received several complaints from members of the public about the activities of some unscrupulous elements who have been impersonating Senator Babajide Omoworare on Social media especially on Facebook”.

He went further to say that “Office of Senator Omoworare and securities are on the heels of these scammers, and we remain confident that they will be brought to justice sooner than later”. Dairo said.

Calling on the general public to disregard requests and ignore chats in the name of Senator Omoworare, Dairo said “we wish to appeal to members of the public to ignore any friend request alleged to be sent by Senator Babajide Omoworare and enjoined people to desist from being enticed with fraudulent job offer. It is not in the character of the Senator or anyone with him to demand for financial gratification under the guise of employment”.

The Senator has not sent any friendship request out to anyone in the last few years as his personal profile which is recognised and endorsed by facebook is filled to capacity. Below are the image of the original and fake profile for the general public to take notice of.

Dairo concluded the public warning by saying that “the Senator or his office will take no responsibility for anyone who falls prey of this evil workers and thanked members of the general public for their  understanding and vigilance.”
