A Gbongan born politician and security expert Omooba Dotun Babayemi has rejoiced with christians globally on yet another Christmas and New year 2021 celebrations.
Omooba Babayemi in a release he personally signed described the birth of Jesus Christ as a blessing to mankind which signifies peace, love and unity.
Describing the year 2020 as challenging where some whom we care for are no longer with us,the Osun west senatorial candidate in the last election maintained that the birth of Christ has brought respite and prays the new year is filled with joy and happiness.
Omooba Babayemi who called on individuals to emulate the virtues in Jesus Christ and apply his teachings in dealing with one another said that it is when love permeates the society that peace would be enjoyed.
The front line politician of the Peoples Democratic party who raised hope in a better Nigeria,implored those in positions of authority to remember the less privileged and design programmes that will bring succour to an average citizen,just as Christ brought good news to the world.
While wishing everyone merry Christmas and prosperous new year 2021 in advance, Omooba Dotun Babayemi urged them to celebrate with moderation,and protect themselves maximally from the dreaded covid 19 by obeying all the protocols against the dreaded virus.
