Atiku’s Wife Lauds PDP Over Peaceful Conduct of Presidential Primary, Says Hubby Won’t Fail Nigerians

Wife of Former Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP for the 2019 election, Hajia Titi Abubakar has expressed gratitude to the leadership of the party for organising a peaceful presidential election that produced her husband, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the candidate of the party for the next year general elections.

In a statement issued by Hajia Abubakar and made available on Wednesday, the planning committee led by Governor  Okowa of Delta state was commended for conducting what she described as “the most transparent primaries witnessed ever in our nascent Democracy in Nigeria.”

She also commended the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesome Wike for ensuring that a conducive environment was provided for the primary.

“History will be kind on all their Excellencies including the Board of Trustees ably represented by the Former Senate President, Distinguished Adolphus Wabara.”

She emphasised the uncommon courage of fellow aspirants who competed with her husband, stating that all delegates gave good account of themselves and by their acceptance of the outcome of the primaries and assurance of cooperation with the winner, they are exemplary agents who are poised for the overall good of the populace.

Hajia Abubakar said “history will not forget their spirit of sportsmanship and I am confident that all of them are equal Winners”.

“I enjoin the voting populace to continue to be steadfast in our liberation mission. And it is my sincere aspiration and assurance that the PDP will not disappoint the People of Nigeria if given the chance to take over Government at all levels in 2019. Together, We will attain new frontiers of development in all spheres in a restructured Nigeria and the labour of Hero past as well as past enviable legacies will be built upon.

“Indeed, it is going to be a turn around for the country with the digital leadership that the PDP is bringing to the fore. Thank you endlessly,” she said.
