A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Alhaji Ismail Abiodun Saka-Layonu (SAN), has felicitated with the governor of the state, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, on the occasion of his 67th birthday.
The Ede-born lawyer felicitated with Governor Oyetola via a personally signed congratulatory message made available to AMILOADED on Wednesday.
Dr. Saka-Layonu, in the congratulatory message, described Governor Oyetola as “a complete icon of progressive politics”.
The lawyer further stated that Oyetola has always been a patriotic leader, even before he became the governor of Osun State, with commendable inputs towards human development and capacity building.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria said, “I join numerous others to wish our Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola a most auspicious birthday celebration.
“Let me simply say that whenever there’s cause to congratulate or celebrate our Governor or with him, whether on a personal note or in his official capacity, we congratulate and celebrate ourselves too.
“Why? Because we had divine guidance and we chose well.
“Mr. Governor, may your days be long in joy, peace, good health, and happiness.
“May your tenure after 8 years, (4+4) Insha Allahu, end far better than it started and far more in accomplishments than all previous Governors put together. Amen,” Dr. Saka-Layonu stated.
