Adeoti Assures Osun Workers Of Prompt Payment Of Full Salary

The governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Osun state, Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti has said the era of half salary payment would end once he takes over the governance of the state after the September 22 election.

He said the attention of the party had been drawn to the current fear being expressed by the state workers over the backlog of salaries being owed by the state government.

This was contained in a statement signed and issued by Mr. Kayode Agbaje, the Director, Media and Publicity of Moshood Adeoti Campaign Organization (MACO).

The statement reads,  “We wish to categorically state that if voted into power during the September 22 governorship election in the state, full salary payment would commence in December 2018 to all categories of our state workers.

“The governorship candidate is also aware of the limited resources available to the state, we want to make it abundantly clear for the umpteenth time that once all the current leakages are blocked, half salaries to the state workers and pensioners would become a thing of the past.”

Alhaji Adeoti assured the various categories of the workers that all salary arrears would be paid by instalments once he is voted and sworn-in as the governor of the state.

“The state workers, if motivated, would become a toast to the national civil service.

“They still remain our best friends and their welfare, our topmost priorities,” Alhaji Adeoti stressed.
