The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun state, has condoled the family of the late former Nigerian Ambassador to China, Ambassador Chief Gunju Adesakin on the death of the latter.
In a condolence message signed by Hon Olasoji Adagunodo and made available to Amiloaded on Thursday, Adagunodo described late Adesakin as a strong pillar of politics in Osun state.
While sympathising with the people of Osun, Adagunodo said the deceased was always at the side of truth during hi lifetime.
“Osun PDP sympathizes the with immediate family of the former Nigerian Ambassador to China, Ambassador Chief Gunju Adesakin and the entire sons and daughters of Ife home and abroad on the exit of the giant politician from the source of Yoruba race.
“Ambassador Gunju Adesakin was a role model and a strong pillar of politics in Ife, Osun and Nigeria at large; a man of his words, straight forward person and God fearing leader who was always ready to stand with the truth and identify with his followers till he breathed his last.
Osun PDP pray to the almighty God to be with his immediate family, Ife communities, Osun PDP and the entire citizens of Osun State,” tr message reads.
