Comrade Adegboye, who is a Prince of Ilemowu, the headquarter of Ola-Oluwa South East Local Council Development Area of Osun State, gave the advice while addressing the youths across Ola-Oluwa LGA under the Youth Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), OlaOluwa Local Government chapter on Monday.
Bonnke, who is also an Evangelist of African Church, celebrated his 40th birthday on Monday as he expressed his appreciation to God for the grace of witnessing his 40th birthday with special gift of becoming the YOWICAN Chairman of his Local Government.
He added that he has held the post of Recording Secretary and PRO of Mother CAN for the period of three years each, noting that the latest post is a special assignment as he promised to use his experience to bring positive changes to the association.
Adegboye, however, enjoined the youths from the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 12 verse 1 and urged them to make themselves available for Christ.
He said, “My dear people, go away from sins, I’m a sinner like you, nobody is totally free from sin, I have decided as I clocked 40 years to spend the rest of my life with Almighty God my Creator.”
He added that he has been celebrating his birthday in a special way since ten years ago through thanksgiving at church and make some less privileged happy.
Bonnke noted that he has no silver or gold but prefer to make people happy than to organise party to be eating and drinking wine.
He, therefore, called on the federal government to create more job opportunities for youths so they will have better future.
