Osun 2022: Lasun Yussuff Picks Nomination Form, Accused APC Of Rigging 2018 Governorship Election

 

The former Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives, Hon. Lasun Yussuff, has accused his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) of rigging the 2018 governorship election which produced Adegboyega Oyetola as the governor of Osun State, AMILOADED reports.

Hon. Yussuff, who stated that the party lost the governorship poll, made the disclosure while speaking to newsmen at the APC national secretariat in Abuja on Thursday

The former lawmaker was at the APC National Secretariat to pick his nomination form to contest under the party in the 2022 governorship election in Osun State.

He further disclosed that the incumbent Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, was compensated for his current office because of the role he (Omo-Agege) played in the 2018 governorship election in Osun State.

Hon. Yussuff warned that “Nobody born of a woman can repeat what they did to me in 2018 because I was rigged out.”
