Jubilation As House Of Reps Member, Bamidele Salam, Empowers Constituents With Business Grants, Sewing Machines

The lawmaker representing Ede Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Bamidele Salam, on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, gifted many of his constituents loads of business support grants to business entrepreneurs as well as several industrial sewing machines to fashion designers, AMILOADED reports.

 

The beneficiaries were drawn from Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Local Government Areas of Osun State.

 

Bamidele Salam, while addressing the beneficiaries, urged them not to relent in their efforts to turn the federal constituency to a hub of sustainable business owners.

 

The lawmaker, who was represented by one of his aides, Hon Hassan Oyelola, advised the fashion designers, who took home brand new industrial and standard sewing machines, to invent unbeatable creativity into their competitive trade, adding that the move would justify objectives behind the gesture, thereby bringing him fulfilment as facilitator.

 

Notable amongst the beneficiaries were The Merciful God Fashion Designer in Ede, Holar Couture (Ejigbo) based in Osogbo, Mabel Styles, Letoya House of Fashion, Amaechi Chukwu Fashion designer Ido-Osun, amongst other fashion designers in Ede Federal Constituency.

 

While speaking to newsmen, one of the beneficiaries, Olayinka Olaoye from Ejigbo local government, said Hon. Bamidele Salam remains the best representative of the people.

 

The elated Olaoye said, “When I was called upon to come and collect this machine, I couldn’t believe it because I was once a beneficiary of his past empowerment.

 

“It’s my prayer that he will continue to soar higher as he is doing his best to reduce poverty in our federal constituency, he will not fail. His second term will be easy.”

 

Dignitaries present at the event in Ede on Wednesday include party chairmen in the four local governments of the federal constituency, foremost leaders of the party in the federal constituency, Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, Prince Lere Laoye, Alhaji Akin Ajetunmobi, Alhaji Tajudeen Adisa, Hon Debo Aderinola, legislative aides of Hon. Bamidele Salam, community leaders, amongst others.
