The 6th edition of the Osun Youth Ambassador Awards will on Sunday, November 28, 2021, hold with no fewer than eighteen personalities bagging award in honour of their contributions to the society, AMILOADED reports.
In a statement issued by the organiser of the event, Youth Reformers Initiative (YRI), on Saturday, the event would hold at Laim Banquet Hall, Laim Hotel Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
The statement signed by the President of YRI, Aminat Ajibola, noted that His Royal Majesty, the Olowu of Kuta, Oba AbdulHammed Adekunle Makama (Tegbosun 3), would be the royal father of the day, while Professor Siyan Oyeweso would be the guest speaker at the event.
She added that government functionaries, political office holders, entrepreneurs, community and religious leaders, and media practitioners are expected to grace the event.
“This programme is the 6th edition and it has always been specially and specifically organized to acknowledge the positive contributions of great, illustrious and industrious sons and daughters of Osun State who have distinguished themselves in their chosen field of endeavours, whose impacts and contribution to their community and fatherland has created for them a niche of excellence,” Ajibola stated.
