*I lost my car to and other valuable things to kidnappers disguised in army uniform but I escaped abduction*
I was back at home from work around 7:30pm on 13th October, 2021. On getting home I didn’t meet my wife at home and call her to ask where she is? responding to me that she is still in school gwagwalada rounding up to finish up a tutorial against her examination paper schedule for the next day. Around 10pm on same date, I received call from her saying she has been on road since but couldn’t find taxi to get home immediately, I left home for 43minutes drive to gwagwalada. On getting to giri junction, there were men on army uniform to stop and search cars and before me were 2 cars and behind me 2 cars, before I knew it, they are disguised armed robbers/kidnappers in army uniform. They collected my car key and I was forced with gun inside the bush. Undressed me and give me new cloth to wear. Inside that bush I met 6 victims seating begging for their life which they join me with. One of them who drove off my car called after 5minutes that my car has security and they should kill me if I didn’t give the security information which I gave out the info. I tried to escape the first time, I was caught and thoroughly beaten up and tiled down with rope on both legs and hands. From their conversation, I heard, if the car owner has no one to pay 3m or 5m he won’t be released (that’s me). That’s when I realized that they are not only robbers but also a kidnappers. I gather my strength and make attempt to escape which was successful, I had to hide inside the bush for about 1½ hrs before I locate the main road and jumped over university of Abuja staff quarters fence and knock one of the apartment for assistance which they summon the security. The security of the quarters locked me up till morning while I explain myself but they did not trust my words untill morning after my wife came as a witness.
The case is in gwagwalada divisional police station.
