The Association of Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter, said it has suspended strike with agreement of new bread prices.
AMILOADED gathered that the association had begun strike on Friday and ended it on Sunday following an increase in the price of flour.
AMILOADED learnt that a bag of flour is now #22,000.
The Chairman of the association, Alhaji Onaopepo Bakare and Secretary, Adeeyo M.A who made the announcement of the increase in bread prices on Monday said the decision was for their business to survive.
They further said that prices of other ingredients used in making the bread, had equally gone up, hence the need for them to take the decision.
AMILOADED reports that the previous price of N80 bread will now be sold to consumers at N120, previous price of N120 bread will now be sold to consumers at N150, previous price of N200 bread will now be sold at N250.
