Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State has unveiled ‘Ofada Osun Rice’.
The grain is a type of rice produced by the osun state farmers thereby adding the Osun among the food producing state in Nigeria.
Governor Aregbesola, who visited the Onilapa Rice Farm Ogbaagba, to meet with the farmers reiterated his government’s effort at ensuring adequate food production for self sustenance of Osun state, saying Nigerians must feed themselves.
Showcasing the harvested rice yesterday, the farmers who partnered with the state of Osun on the project thanked Gov Rauf Aregbesola for his support through the farming season.
