How Armed Robbers Attack Police Station, Banks In Osun – CP Olokode Gives Full Account

The Osun state commissioner of police, CP Olawale Olokode has given full account of robbery incident that occurred on Thursday in Iree, Boripe Local Government of Osun.

AMILOADED had earlier reported that during the bank robbery, a police officer was killed on Thursday when the armed robbers stormed the United Bank of Africa, UBA, and Access bank at Boripe Local government.

The daredevils were said to have escaped through Ada town.

AMILOADED learnt that the robbers arrived at the two banks, in the same location at 3:50 p.m. and operated for about 30 minutes.

A witness, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said two persons were killed during the robbery, while an unspecified amount was carted away.

However, while speaking with BBC News Yoruba, CP Olokode added that the armed robbers also attacked the police station in Iree before they attacked the banks in the town.
