Osun 2022: Prince Debo Odesola Welcomes PDP Working Committee To Ife North As Party Declares Governorship Position Free To Contestants

The House of Assembly candidate in the last election in Ife North Constituency, Hon.Prince Debo Odesola popularly known as PDO, has welcome the Osun State Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the local government.

The PDP Working Committee under the chairmanship of Hon. Sunday Bisi on Tuesday visited Ife North Local Government for reconciliation meeting ahead of the 2022 governorship election in the state.

Hon. Bisi was welcome with his entourage from Akinola junction to the PDP Secretariat by the leaders of the party including local government party chairman Mr Olawale Dauda, Mrs Moji Omisore, Hon. Nofiu and Prince Debo Odesola PDO who contested in 2019 House of Assembly election in Ife North constituency.

Speaking, the state chairman emphasized the need for the party members to unite and work for the progress of the party.

He further spoke on insecurity that has “savage nooks and crannies of Nigeria which was done by APC government couple with economy hardship”.

The PDP Chair stressed that the governorship position is open to every would-be aspirant “despite the fact that the party is ready to field Ademola Adeleke as party candidate”.

He stated further that “whoever that contested in primary with Adeleke and loose should desist from going to court.”

He praised the people of Ife North for the mammoth crowd that welcome him just as he assured them the dividend of democracy when PDP take over the government of Osun in 2022.
