Popular Comedian, Princess has reacted as the Lagos State Police Command granted bail to Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, AKA Baba Ijesha accused of sexually assaulting her foster child.
AMILOADED recalls that Baba Ijesha who has been in detention for weeks after he was arrested for alleged sexual molestation of a 14-year-old girl was granted bail by the police on Monday.
His lawyer, Adesina Ogunlana, confirmed this known on Monday.
“He has been granted bail. We are working to perfect the bail. He was granted bail on health grounds. He has not been released. He will be released after his bail conditions have been perfected,” he said.
Among the bail conditions listed by the lawyer for Baba Ijesha’s release are two reliable sureties – one of them must be a level-10 officer and the second, a direct blood relation, with N500,000 bail bond in like sum.
Reacting, Princess in a post on her Instagram page said she would definitely win the case
The post was made a few hours after news broke that Baba Ijesha has been granted bail.
The commedienne, who stated that she trusts God to grant her victory, accompanied by her post with hashtags on rape and child molestation.
Some of the hashtags read, “Goddoesnotsleep, Godloveschildren, saynotochilddefilement, saynotorape, say somethingifyouseesomething”.
“I will win not immediately but definitely,” she posted.
