Eid-ul-Fitri: Saka-Layonu, SAN Congratulates Muslims, Harps On Sacrifice For Nation Building

As Muslims celebrate the end of the holy month of Ramadan, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State of Osun, Alhaji (Dr.) Ismail Abiodun Saka-Layonu, SAN has congratulated Muslims.

In a press release issued on Thursday morning, Dr. Saka-Layonu (SAN) described the just concluded holy month of Ramadan as a moment of core sacrifice to Almighty Allah which involves reflecting on one’s past, present and future.

The Ede-born politician advised that Muslims must sustain the good works done in the month of Ramadan particularly in social interaction, nation building and giving to the poor as well as assisting the vulnerable in the society.

“No sacrifice is too much to keep this great country together for the growth of all and equally support the government to achieve this. We have gallant men and women in the army and other patriots who have paid the supreme price for us to live, let us do our best to make Nigeria a better place for all.

“We don’t all have to get to Abuja before we can effect the real change as we can do this right from our homes. Let’s endeavor to bring our children up properly by instilling the right moral and spiritual values in them.

“Like we tried our best for those in need during Ramadan which helped reduce societal struggle for survival, let us sustain this and Allah will keep providing for us. I congratulate all Muslims once again and wish us all a successful Eid-ul-Fitri celebration.” Dr. Layonu, SAN stated.
