It was an emotional sight to behold as Ademola Adeleke visited the burial site of his late Elder brother, Senator Isiaka Adeleke rolling on the ground and invoking the spirit of the dead.
Upon hearing the news of the disqualification of his main challenger, Mudashir Hussein, on the ground that he failed to resign his present appointment for the number of days required as stipulated in the Electoral Act, Ademola headed home to Ede.
Supporters were bemused and left perplexed with some shedding tears at the home of the late Senator.
With the reported disqualification of Hussein, many are of the view the coast is now clear for Ademola to win the party’s ticket and go ahead to win the July 8 bye election of the Osun West Senatorial election, following the death of the former Occupant, Senator Isiaka Adeleke
