Amiloaded gathered that the party chieftain who have earlier been invited separately by the Police decided to honour the invitation but was joined on his way to the Police headquarters by hundreds of his lovers and well wishers who were chanting his praises.
The uncontrollable actions of Diekola’s followers which was discribed by the Police as a breach in public order which led to the arrest of the politician.
After Diekola’s immediate arrest, he was speedly taken to the Magistrate Court for arraignment Court but the process was stalled by the Magistrate’s absence.
Diekola’s councel, Barrister Bukola Onifade expressed that an administrative bail shall be given his client prior his proper arraignment in the court of law.
Onifade however ruled out any political struggle in the ongoing case, he said it is too early to give such judgement.
