Following the attack on one of the houses of Sunday Igboho that was set on fire in the early hours of Tuesday by some suspected arsonists, Alhaji Muhib Aliyu Wereniseoluwa, the General Chairman of Temidire Agbamu Community speaks on the circumstances surrounding the story.
The Chairman, who spoke to our correspondent, said they’re surprised about the incident while commenting on Sunday Igboho’s house fire.
“We heard gunshots in the middle of the night, early morning we came here. We have been to his second house to greet him. For about 10 years, there have been peace and nothing of such.
“We rose to support and show him solidarity. We cannot say for sure there were foreign movements. We cannot say for sure. Gunshot started around 1am. We know there was arson and firefighter came one time. Firefighters came around past 3am,” he told Vanguard.
