A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Dr. Ismail Abiodun Saka-Layonu SAN, has congratulated the Governor of the State of Osun, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, on the commemoration of the second year of his administration.
Dr. Layonu, SAN made this known in a congratulatory message to the Governor and members of his cabinet on Friday, noting that the past two years of the administration, “has been 24 productive months of good governance”.
“The people of Osun are happy and indeed proud of the choice they made to vote you to continue the good works done by your predecessors, particularly those of the progressive class.
“Among others, your reforms in the health sector through which you renovated Primary Health Centres across the state and built new structures, are currently yielding positive results as our people now have access to free medical services no matter where they are in the state.
“In the education sector, the good works of your government are obvious and the people are proud as the future of Osun children remain guaranteed.
“Your decision to take Osun further in the area of infrastructure by constructing durable roads among others, further confirms your ability and capability to provide good leadership. I am so proud to realize that your impact is felt across the state.
“The prompt payment of workers salaries, retirees pensions and gratuities is the secret you used to avert industrial actions in the state and sustain economic growth.
“In human development and capacity building, you have empowered several youths and women, as well as training interested persons in vocations towards making them to be financially independent.
“Reflecting on the above statement of facts and other testimonies of the good people of Osun, one cannot but conclude that it has been a period of 24 productive months of good governance in Osun under your leadership.
“While I personally congratulate you and all your cabinet members, I celebrate your good wife, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola for being a huge pillar of support over the years.” Dr. Saka-Layonu, SAN noted.
We pray that the good people of Osun will in turn commend you by graciously giving you and your team the opportunity of a second term.
