Residents of some major areas in Osogbo, Osun State capital are currently reported fleeing their residence due to the fear of suspected cultists who might invade the area to retaliate the killing of one of them.
Amiloaded gathered that residents in areas like Ayepe, Igbona, Oja Oba and Oke Baale among other places, are currenly living in palpable fear of attack from the unknown cultists.
According to an eyewitness, a suspected Cultist had earlier been killed in the area by a rival group and based on antecedent could lead to the colleagues of the deceased to launch a reprisal attack.
Meanwhile, men of the Nigeria Police and other security agencies are said to be currently on a standby and have assured residents of their safety.
