Osun state governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on Thursday inaugurate the state and local executives of Osun state Community Development Council (CDC) and commissioned 5 utility vehicles for the running of the affairs of the state CDC.
Amiloaded gathered that the memorable event which was facilitated by the Senior Special Adviser to the governor on Community affairs and rural infrastructure, Titilola Moshood was where the new CDC chairman, Alhaji Yisah Abubakar thanked governor Aregbesola for his all time support for communities in the state and commended the SSA to the Governor Titilola Moshood for facilitating the project to a state of success.
In his speech, the governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti congratulate the newly elected executives and encouraged them to be more committed to community project as “self help is said to be the best help”.
The governor also also assured the new leaders of the community association that the government will not relent in its efforts to support community associations through grants and other means.
Other Personalities at the event are; Hon. Bisi Odewumi, SA to the governor on local government and Chieftaincy affairs, senator Mudashiru Husain, COS gboyega Oyetola, SA water resources, rural infrastructure and community affairs John ibirogba, Dr. Ajibola Bashiru, attorney general and commissioner for justice and many others.
