The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 86 new COVID-19 cases across the country with total cases of 627.
The agency made the announcement in a tweet on Sunday.
According to the breakdown, Lagos recorded 70 cases; 7 in the federal capital territory, 3 in Akwa Ibom, 1 in Jigawa, 1 in Bauchi and 1 in Borno.
According to the tweets, “As at 11:50 pm 19th April there are 627 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 170; Deaths: 21.
