BREAKING: Senate Suspends Public Hearings Over Coronavirus

The Nigerian Senate has suspended all public hearings from next week Tuesday as a precautionary measure to curb the spread of Coronavirus.

President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, made the announcement on Thursday after a closed door session which lasted nearly two hours.

Senator Lawan also disclosed that the Senate gallery will be shut down to all categories of visitors as well as excursions to the National Assembly complex.
