Naira Marley has gotta be one of the most popular guys out there, you know. And the thing about his own wave is that he is not only known by fans or listeners of music, he is known by all and sundry. You could totally walk up to your pastor and ask “who is naira marley” and he’s know.
That’s not even the height of it. The height is when even those in the educational sector are now aware of Naira Marley and his radical Marlian movement, that encompasses thousands (or even millions?) of Naira Marley fans worldwide who would do anything to profess their love and support for the artist.
A student of the University of Ilorin, who is taking a Postgraduate degree in the Department of Performing Arts (@tundexmania) shared a picture of an examination script he took yesterday, that apparently had a question on Social Media.
The question which is; “Write a play-let to support the inherent paradox of the Postcolonial culture of Naira Marley and the Marlians” was even made compulsory and that’s definitely the height of it all.
