AGF Hails Osun Governor For Being Sensitive To Yearnings of Workers, Retirees

A group in Osun State, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation has praised the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola for being sensitive to yearnings of retired and active workers in the state civil service.

Specifically, AGF, a group in the ruling All Progressives Congress  described as remarkable, the recent approval and release of the sum of N500 milliom for payments of entitlements to retired workers in Contributory Pensions Scheme.

Its Coordinator, Comrade Sikiru Tijani gave the commendation on Thursday in a chat with AMILOADED in Osogbo.

According to the Coordinator, since the inception of the present administration, workers and pensioners have been promptly attended to.

To this end, Tijani urged Oyetola not to relent and urged workers to continue to support Governor Oyetola in his bid to develop the state.

He said, “Members of the Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation in Osun state are very happy when the news of the approval for the release of a sum of five hundred million naira for the payment of entitlement to retired workers in Contributory Pensions Scheme breaks .

“We are all aware of Governor Gboyega Oyetola sensitivity to the yearning of the workers and pensioners in the state. We are very optimistic that in no distance time, the people of the state would reciprocate the gesture.

“We want to urge the people of the to continue to support the Governor in his bid to take the state to the next level of greatness and development,” Tijani said.
